All amuseapp member museums – even those with a free plan! – can benefit from the new donation and crowdfunding feature.
Directly from the app, at the end of the tour, or by framing a Qr Code, your visitors can contribute
- to the restoration of a work,
- to supporting an event
- or simply to your museum’s general expenses.
This new feature not only makes it easier for museums to get financial support, but also engages visitors in a meaningful way, turning them into true supporters of cultural heritage.
how it works
The donation process is designed to be simple, quick and safe.
Here’s how it works:
- Download and open amuseapp for android or iOs
- Enter the interested museum’s tab: visitors can access the museum’s profile by searching for it directly from the search bar or by scanning the Qr Code displayed in the ticket office.
- Click to donate: with a simple click on the “donate now” button, visitors are asked for the amount they wish to donate.
- Safe payment with Stripe: the donation is handled through Stripe, a world-leading payment platform known for its security and reliability.
Example - Ecomuseo del Fuoco - Mangia Fuoco
The Ecomuseo del Fuoco – Mangia Fuoco is the first museum to take advantage of this new feature.
The initiative aims to keep alive the history and traditions related to Molise’s fire rituals.
With the cooperation of visitors, the museum will be able to fund this local intangible heritage, supporting innovation and community involvement.
